- Lumiere de Chandelle - The rich palette I used to portray this scene was inspired by The Renaissance. The warm flickering light from the candle gently illuminated the background and created an atmosphere of days gone by. The strawberries and flowers were symbolic of a new season, a bountiful harvest. The piece of paper - curled with age - carries my signature and the 'legend' of this timeless painting.
