Dear Marylka, Imogene's eyes look luminous. You are doing a wonderful job. When you add the flesh colors, the painting will really pop. I am glad things are going so well for you.
Keep moving forward, glenda
Hi Glenda I'm happy that you like the eye's having those almost done the painting has come to life Will you be working from the ref pic or the computer image I have only printed mine on printing paper not photo paper. When finishing the eye i must remember there is a small pink area in the corner of the eye I must not loose that it is so small but it's there.Observe ,observe Kathy thank you .You will catch up I'm sure.Have you adjusted your drawing? marylka

Hi Marylka
Sorry for the delay in my reply- there is so much happening here at present. I will catch up with the posts over the weekend.
In the meantime, your eyes are looking excellent. You have already highlighted the things I would suggest. The most important being the placement of the pupils.
YOu will all be surprised to see how much darker the eyes will need to be. But please dont make that adjustment now Marylka. Thos things are much better left for the fine tuning at the end of the painting. If you do it now - you will be guessing at the tone you will need. I suggest that you simply make the little alterations you have mentioned and then move on to the skin tone.
You are doing so well! So very well!
Keep going - this is going to be a beautiful piece Marylka.

Hi again Marylka
In haste...
The colour of the eye looks fine on my screen. But these are also the things that can be adjusted in the fine tuning.
My screen does show the whites of the eyes as needing the tiniest little touch of Aureolin in your mix. It wouldnt hurt to add that now if you wish. Otherwise the eyes will be distracting as you paint.
You have made a brilliant job of the iris.
Must dash Susan

Hi Susan , I have done the first two underwashes , and then did two tonal washes and looking at it now realized I haven't left enough lights . What do you suggest ? Kathy B.

Hi Nodge, I did what you said and I had resized the image to 180x240 it will not accept the image
I don't know why , I did everything the same as when I had sent in my previous image and it was accepted .
