I had one of my back breaking pain days so I could not do much so I watched it a felt at least I,m not waisting the time just laying down.I had a procedure done last Thursday doctor trying to locate where the problem is, they stuck needles in  with a local i was out of pain for a short time it was a temporary relief(it was a great feeling ) and it's very aggravated now.Hopefully the next time they can relive it for a longer period of time .I did get a lot of enjoyment from watching the dvd though I like that part too it can't be easy painting mixing talking it almost feels like we are in her head with the wonderful explanation on the way

Wow, Marylka, That is great that you got to watch the DVD while recovering. I do hope they find the source of your problem. I know it is really a bummer to be in pain! Undecided
In the USA, we have no Health Care unless you are totally disabled, ( and then it is not quality because the Gov does not give much to the Dr's who agree to do it) or if you have an Employer who offers health care insurance. Many dont. We could get it ourselves, but the cost is so very high, we cannot have it and still have a quality life. We still have to eat!  We also cannot afford a Medical Dr's fee's either! Some days I can barely walk and the pain will keep me up all night, but I have been dismissed by Dr's because I dont have medical insurance and am not rich enough to pay them for any extended treatments on my own. So I have to go on without any help. I was diagnossed many years ago at age 19 with some major issues. But I was covered back then. Now I'm older and the problems are worse.
OK! I will say no more. I might cry! Cry When I think of people all over our country who are worse off in pain then I am, it breaks my heart for them. It hurts me even more when others hurt and cannot get help. I am so happy you get to see a Dr and have some care and relief from pain. That is so great!
Blessings and get well!

The time wait is one of the excuses why so many people here are fighting the idea of a Gov system. But I heard a story where a younger woman was diagnosed with breast cancer in England and she was taken care of immediately. There was no wait. They are even covering reconstruction under the circumstances. I guess it depends on the ergency of the problem.
If the Dr's here are outragiously priced because they have to pay such high liability insurance. It is the (sue happy) people who caused such high medical coverages for all of us.

Myself, I used the old fashioned and Naturpathic way. I have been studying Healing modalities for over 30 years , and practicing it, so it helps me have courage. That and God.

Same over here with any life threatening issues there is no waiting time.I'm having a good day today so the brushes are flying .After viewing the new Susan's  DVD there are some paintings that i can add to to make them sing as Susan often says.I remember you asking me how i got clean edges even though it wasn't specified in depth as the in new dvd thats how i cleaned them up after every layer  i did it instinctively it's a better way of getting them under control and the water softening layer there are so many wonderful points that she explains .I have been playing with leaves today hope to do some for the challange The portrait of Imogene will have to be next year What a gorgeous baby and those eyes .It will be fun to see the entries.

I remember asking that last year when I first started painting. I had trouble with edges because I was not used to how much water to use with pigment. It has taken allot of practice but I've got a better handle on it now.
The New DVD is the same study of Susans last workshop that I attended. So the DVD is just a refresher course for me. Thank Goodness! Its so nice to go over it all again.

Yes, Imogen has amazing eyes. Peachy skin. She is a real doll. I'm busy too but would like to paint her when I get time. I think it takes me as long to sketch out the subject as to paint the subject. I erase allot. Thank goodness for my eraser! Cheesy
