What subject fascinates  or mystifies you? What would you us to focus a SusanArt Artist's Challenge on? What do you think would make an excellent subject for our challenge?

Thanks Bruce. Great suggestion. Yes I can do that. So I will discuss how to paint water, sand, waves, ripples and foam etc after the first two challenges. That will be fun! Watch this space!!!

Oh that is so exciting Susan. I will definetly watch this space. I always admired your Waves in "Oceans Apart", Susan.

What is with painting fur? That would also be a good challenge.

The things that challenge me the most are Rocks, "stones" of many kinds.  I am what we call here in Oregon USA a ROCK HOUND.

Her latest DVD shows a white rose demo but a white flower challenge would be fun.

Hi Susan,
I would like to see a challenge on how to paint cats. I love the cat you painted near your pansies there was so much detail in the fur. I particularly would like to know how to get the look of those end bits of fur like wispy hair.
regards

Water, most definitely!  And fur!  (I have yorkies.)  I also want to paint a wolf for my gran-daughter.  Kittens, squirrels, chipmunks, all the cute little critters that brighten up a painting; all have fur.
