Wildlife and Bird Paintings, Cats in watercolor and oil

My paintings pay homage to these captivating, characterful creatures. Some endangered: my message is one of awareness of the precious gift we hold so precariously. We are caretakers for future generations. The Takahe (one of New Zealand’s most endangered birds), gregarious sparrows, a Stewart Island Robin, a Kingfisher sitting on a decaying sign – keeping a watchful eye over his kingdom – all of these and so many more creatures are featured in this ever growing section. With awareness comes respect and then hopefully action before we lose what we take for granted.
