ART TOURS
EUROPE - An Artist's Mediterranean Odyssey 2012
This is an initial newsflash - with more details to follow:
Due to high demand for their tailor-made specialty tours - Susan and Richard are about to launch a magnificent leisurely 28 day tour to many of their favourite European haunts.
Beginning in early September 2012 and ending in early October - this tour promises to be a leisurely-paced trip of a life time.
Travelling in the comfort of a private coach to hand-picked destinations and in the security of experienced tour leaders, you can sit back, relax and absorb the atmosphere of these magical places.
With the main focus on site-seeing, Susan and Richard offer a unique tour. Beginning with the opportunity for those who would love to paint with Susan in ancient villages, in the meadows surrounded by wild-flowers and Swiss Alps, or flying in a hot air balloon over the LoireValleychateaux in the late afternoon just as the sun is setting - Susan will be there to help you every step of the way. Richard will also teach you how to get the best travel shots from your digital camera - as well as share his vast knowledge of wine appreciation in two wine appreciation workshops. What better place to do this - than in Europe! Enjoy a fabulous cook school in Bellagio Lake Como and be mesmerized by the Jungfraujouk - Susan and Richard's favourite place to visit in Europe.
A number of the land tour destinations are three or four night stays. Beginning in Paris in early September, then on to the beautiful Loire ValleyFrance, Beaune (France), Lauterbrunnen (Switzerland), Bellagio (LakeComo)Italy,Venice (Italy), Nice (France), then on to Monaco where we board our luxury 5 star cruise liner that will glide us along the French and Italian Riviera for 11 nights. This cruise has a brilliant itinerary beginning with St Tropez, then on to Portofino, Cinque Terre, Florence, Taormina, Capri, Amalfi, Sorrento, and finishing in ancient Rome for two nights.
With each day and each destination Susan and Richard will reveal the must-see places they love to share. Avoiding the tourists traps, they will introduce you to the real Europe, infused with local personality. These along with the surprises they have in store will make this a tour you will remember forever.
